What Matters Most

"'If we let Him go on like this, everyone will believe in Him, and then the Romans will come and take away both our temple and our nation'" (John 11:48).

It was suppose to be about Him!  He had been prophesied about and promised!  It was supposed to be about worshiping Him, loving Him, accepting Him, and learning from Him.  But yet, they seemed more inconvenienced by Him and were more concerned what He might cost them.  Even today, there are many who put more focus on their customs than their Christ.  Standing up for Him, His kingdom and His righteousness is too costly.  So...they don't.

I am a Christian.  I love Jesus and I accept His Word as absolute truth.  If you are at that same point as I am, then you have also come to know this truth as well: It's going to cost something.  No, I'm not being heretical in the belief that you have to do something to earn salvation, but to say that it doesn't cost you something is just wrong.  It will cost you...well...YOU.  We have to lay our whole selves on the line, surrendering all to Him.  You will find that HE is more valuable in your life and to your life than anything or anyone else could be.  Choose to live each day as though He is the only one who matters.  Because...He is!
