"Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance" (Proverbs 1:5).
Have you ever met someone that came across as though they've "arrived?" Or, that they knew "everything" there was to know? Of course you have. We hall have. Perhaps we've even been that person...at least a time or two. One should never assume that they've learned all there is to know. Many have become satisfied, content, and even complacent in their relationship with God. They've stopped going further. They've "heard" it all before. There's nothing new for them to learn. What a dangerous place to be.
Though I'm not that old, there are a lot of things that I have learned in my life. Some by choice, other's by circumstance. Either way, I haven't learned it all. I don't want to stop growing in any area of my life. There's so much that I don't know and that I want to know. I need to continue to spend time with mentors and people who know more than I do, keep reading and learning. If want to be wise, I must continue learning at the feet of Jesus.
